Christmas Hams and Turkeys from Bubba's, NCAA Bowls

Happy holidays everybody! Hope you're keeping warm here in Shanghai or at least packing up to go somewhere warm for the next few weeks. If you're hanging around, then call up the restaurant and make your reservation to join us for Christmas dinner on Thursday, Dec 25, featuring our freshly brined and smoked honey glazed hams, smoked Southwest turkey, conrbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, fresh rolls, and awesome pies. Dinner for eat in at Bubba's is 250 rmb and includes several complementary glasses of red or white wine. For reservations please call the restaurant at 6242 2612.

If eating at home is your preference, then you can still enjoy our smoked hams and turkeys. The hams are brining as we speak, and are 500 rmb each...smoked to order as long as we have one or two days notice. These hams are fresh and weigh in at 10 pounds, bone-in. We glaze them with a honey/mustard sauce prior to removing from the smoker after about 10 hours of cooking with apple wood.

Turkeys, as with Thanksgiving, are also available at 650 each. Several choices of sides are also available.

In the coming weeks, NCAA Bowl games will start kicking in. We will send out a weekly email on games being featured at Bubba's, but as always, if you have a special interest in a game then by all means let me know. I will do my best to put it on.

We'll also be doing NCAA Basketball, and will kick off that effort in earnest this Sunday with a showdown between #10 North Carolina vs #2 Texas at Noon.
